🏆 KLYNG CUP 2026 Format 

🎯 Competition Format

• Start and Registration Time: All captains, please arrive 45 mins before the start time for the briefing. Both brackets start at the same time.

• Games per Team Match (4 total):

  • Men’s Doubles

  • Women’s Doubles

  • Mixed Doubles 1

  • Mixed Doubles 2

If there is a 2:2, then we will use the point differential. The team with higher accumulated points from the 4 games wins. If there is still a tie, we will have TieBreaker in the end.

In the begining of every match, the captains/players can use guessing number to decide either choosing side or choosing serve/return. After the first game, the teams will alternate the sides and serves in the same match.

• TieBreaker:
• Rally points to 15. Each team will send the same 4 players to play rally singles. Each player will play 3 points and following the same order from the lineup.

• Scoring:

  • Rally scoring to 15 points (go straight freeze 14-14, next point win on SERVE).

  • Every rally counts — both serving and receiving teams can score. Fixed position and no rotation on the same side in the same game. However player can choose to stack in the game. One time out from each side.

• Court arrangement: 2 clubs stay on 1 court throughout the match. Every game Player guess the number to decide serve or side for every game. And the players stay with side throughout the game. 

🔄 Rotation Rules 

• Players stay on the same side for the entire game.

  • No switching left/right after every point.

  • Captains assign left/right position when lineups are submitted.

• Serving Rule:

  • Team with even score serves from right, odd score serves from left (to preserve the pickleball rhythm).

👥 Captains & Score Reporting

• Each team of each bracket will have its own captain.

• One team captain will input the scores through KLYNG CUP app in real time. The other captain will confirm the score through the app onsite.

• All the results, standing and leaderboard will be updated and shown on the app in real time!

How to Fill Your Lineup on the KLYNG App

Setting your lineup is simple — just assign your four players into the correct positions. The app will automatically generate the matches based on your selections.

Step 1: Assign Your Players

You will select 4 players for each team match:

• Man 1
• Man 2
• Woman 1
• Woman 2

Step 2: Match Format (Auto-Generated)

Once assigned, the app will create the matches as follows:

• Men’s Doubles
  → Man 1 + Man 2
• Women’s Doubles
  → Woman 1 + Woman 2
• Mixed Doubles 1
  → Man 1 + Woman 1
• Mixed Doubles 2
  → Man 2 + Woman 2

 No need to manually pair players — the app does it for you.

Step 3: Tiebreaker (If Needed)

If the match is tied, a Dreambreaker (Singles Rally Scoring) will decide the winner.

You will use the same 4 players from that lineup.

Playing Order:

1. Man 1
2. Man 2
3. Woman 1
4. Woman 2

• Players rotate in this order every 3 points (or as per format)
• Rally scoring applies to 15 and freeze at 14, win by on serve (every point counts).
